October 2015 HOA Board Meeting Minutes

Minutes from October 7th 2015 meeting

In attendance, Jon, Jan, Haley, and Kat

The following items were discussed at the HOA Board Meeting:

  1. Garage Sale on October 9-10; community signs were placed out at the entrances; not sure how many residents were involved; talked about only having one per year; will ask the residents in a survey next year
  2. Snow plow contract is taken care of this year. Jon will be the lead on this.
  3. We will be getting new mulch for the playground. The merry go round is broken and will need to be removed. We will also look at new equipment for the playground for the spring of 2016. A bench outside of the playground for parents to sit was also suggested.
  4. We will be using Absolute Aquatic for our pond care. Our first contract with him will begin in the spring of 2016.
  5. Residents have asked about mailboxes. Jonathon will do some research on where to find these and we will get this information to the residents.
  6. Jan will check with Debbie and Kathy on having a Halloween party for the community. They were unable to do it so there was no party this year for the community. 
  7. Violation letter was sent out for the resident with the waverunners on this side lawn.
  8. No architectural issues to report.
  9. Still waiting on the state to issue a new entity report.
  10. Full treasurer’s report will be given at December 2015 meeting. We continue to send overdue HOA dues to collections.
