December 9th HOA Meeting Minutes
- Resident concerns: size of mini barn. This discussion was tabled until after the 1st of the year when we discuss HOA dues and collections.
- Mailboxes- Jon found a place in Fishers Indiana called Mailbox Products Inc. They can make the posts and mailboxes for the residents. There are varying prices starting at around $200- $350.00. The actual estimates have been uploaded to google drive and the information will be put out in the January Newsletter.
- Playground: Kat is working with AAA State of play to finalize the details of the new equipment and the removal of the Merry go round. Kat will get a price for a new bench. The Mulch is already written into the Landscaping contract for 2016.
- Snow Plow Contract – 2016 contract in place. We are ready to go. Jon is lead on this if we have any issues.
- Pond maintenance; fountain – The new company we are working with is Brian Weber of Absolute Aquatic. We are excited about the new things we will try to keep the ponds looking good.
- Landscaping-2016 contract approved. We will use Heartland Landscape and Lawncare LLC.
- Violations:
- parking in the street 6058 Amber Valley Lane. This vehicle was parked without movement for over 2 weeks. First violation letter was sent.
- Business Entity Status – on 10 December 2015, letter, plus business documents were again mailed to the Indiana Department of Revenue to get our status back. Kat will follow up in January to see the status.
- Architectural report:
- Approvals – NA
- Pending NA
- Issues – bench broken; see picture.Haley and her husband will fix the bench.They did a great job with the one by the big pond.
- Website: IT report – Kevin was not at the meeting. Kat and Haley will take over the website and Kat is looking into having a new wordpress website designed.
- Library project: Board approved this as a go. Kat let the Key Club know. The library will be installed in the Spring.
- Treasurer’s report – moved to January
- Bills – IPL paid 28 November; Heartland landscaping Nov bill paid; Hoosier Aquatic need to pay
- HOA Dues Status – detailed report. Kat and Jan will sit down this month and go over each resident.
- Eagle collection Status – detailed report. Same as above.
- Newsletter and HOA dues letter – going out in January – here is what the board thought should be included in the newsletter
