March 2nd HOA Meeting Minutes
In attendance were Kat, Haley, and Jon. The following information was discussed.
- Assessment /Dues Status: A 2016 spreadsheet was prepared showing the status of all homeowners and payment of their 2016 dues. The due date was 1 March 2016 so the next letter for past due Amber Ridge Assessments will be sent out shortly.
- No parking sign status: We discussed and read the responses from residents who do not wish to have No Parking signs put up in the neighborhood. Residents still have time to send in their opposition to no parking signs.
- Playground: Jon and Haley are looking at playground equipment. Jon found some other ones that might be a great addition to the playground. We will be replacing the broken merry go round. There is an issue with removing the concrete and Kat will look into researching how this will be done. We will also add another bench to the playground, by the SW corner for parents to sit on while watching their children play. Kat has the lead on this.
- Dirt bikes/4 wheelers in the common area: It was brought to the board’s attention that there are people riding these in the common areas specifically by the large pond. We are looking into this issue.
- Landscaping contract for 2016 is signed. We will have Heartland Landscaping again to take care of our community property.
- Business Entity Status is good. No issues here.
- Website: the new website was launched and Kat asked if there were any issues with it. None so far.
- Library project: the library is slated to be installed in April. It is still on track and will be placed by the park across from the bench.
- Treasurer’s report:
- Bills – IPL FEb bill paid. Heartland landscaping prepayment is due. HOA Assessments ongoing.
- Collection of previous HOA Assessments not paid- was discussed and detailed report for Board members only.
